Is this actually a Tea Party event? Or is it an Icaucus Rally? Or is it a Republican party forum? Will there be anything but Republican candidates? Isn't this sort of "stretching" the Tea Party rules about not endorsing candidates?

- I found the site on a Facebook status posting.
- Why do you want to join the Tea Party?
- I am currently running for office in Michigan. So I will do what I can to let people know about your site and group as I talk to people. I am a writer/editor by trade.
- Are you interested in volunteering?
- Yes. It's difficult to tell them apart at times. Neither have been fiscally responsible over the years. On the Federal level the government has grown far beyond the boundaries found in the Constitution. On the state level taxing and spending is a way of life for most of those in Lansing.

Tina Dupont said… - Welcome Rich. You really need to look at ICaucus if you haven't already if you're running for office. You also need to become friends with Don Jakel on this site so we can get you hooked up for vetting.
We have many groups and events here so I hope you can join us on some of them. They are under the buttons at the top of the page in the picture. Please go to http://ourcaucus.com and watch the videos. It will probably make you sick but that is what we are up against. We need all the help we can get to win but we will win our country back. More people will just make it faster. Once you watch the videos and you're ready to help, invite your friends to watch them also and then join the ICaucus site at http://icaucus.ning.com and then join the state sub-group where you vote.
Please invite the rest of your friends and family to do the same. If the weather cooperates we have our meeting Thursday night and we'd love to have you. Check the site if weather conditions change in case we have to cancel.
