Profile Information

How did you find Tea Party of West Michigan?
"Common Sense" yellow sticker that was handed out to me and my wife at the Grand Rapids April 15th Tea Party Protest that we attended from an online list.. I had taken the day off of work and we attended the Holland, MI protest before heading over to GR.
Why do you want to join the Tea Party?
Besides attending two Tea Party protests, I have been in constant contact since last fall through e-mail and phone calls to my Senators and Representative on many bills and issues. I've called the White House and sent e-mails to the President and the House Speaker Pelosi. We have a part-time photographic business.
Are you interested in volunteering?
Yes. Nationally the Republicans had the opportunity and the power to implement the conservative principles that they told the American people that they stood for, however they drifted left and lost their mandate from the people. Unfortunately there are bad politicians in both parties and a lot of them overreached and overspent. President Bush also overreached and overspent. The bailing out of Mr. Paulson’s rich buddies without oversight was criminal. Now we have true Democratic socialists trying to operate a formerly capitalist society. God help us all.

Link to coverage by C-span3 of the 11-5-09 Health Care on Capital Hill Tea Party

C-span3 lists the video coverage under the title "Republican Health Care Agenda" and it lasts about 105 minutes. I was very impressed with the crowd turnout and the celebs that attended. President Obama wins the 2009 Nobel Peace Prize

President Obama could not get the Olympics for Chicago, but he manages to win the 2009 Nobel Peace Prize? Mr. Nobel should be rolling over in his grave! They had to give it to him only a couple of weeks into office, deadline was Feb. 1.

These are some great pictures.

One place you might look for ideas is our group called Independence Caucus. There are steps to take on the main page. They have a plan to replace the bad politicians in all levels of government in all states. I am working with them as are others in our group for Michigan. Please join us in this fight. In my personal opinion I think it will work with enough people.
