Wouldn't it be PC to send them used Q-tips on the grounds that we recycle? That probably wouldn't work so well. Interesting idea though.

Time to Cowboy (and cowgirl) Up on Health Care - again

As all of you know the Zombie like Health Care Reform efforts have once again been resurected from the dead. The best - and most likely the only - possibility for finally stopping this finally is in the House. To recap:

Both the House and the Senate have passed bills. The Senate has passed their bill ( the christmas Eve vote without reconciliation ) and passed it back to the House. Should the house pass that bill then it is game over since a fully passed bill can then be sent t

Q-tips for Congress

Not my original idea but I thought it was a good one:

Send Q-tips to Congressmen and Senators along with a note to clean their ears out so that they can hear us and telling them "We Do Not Want the Health Care Bill.

I just couldn't resist one last e-mail to our Senators - here is mine.

I sent this e-mail to Senator Stabenow and Senator Levin - edited for each of their positions and election years. I would be interested in what others have to say to them on this historic day when the Mass TeaPartyers and Patriots go to the polls. If nothing else we need to remind them that this is the new normal and they need to rethink how they do business.

My e-mail follows:

Dear Senator Levin

I have contacted you via numerous means over the past year. Probably in the hundreds of e-mails a… Continue

The Health Care Bill fight is not over yet! Fight it out to the end!

This isn’t over yet. I just posted this on a National site and it would take a National coordinated effort of the Tea Party. But we can do our part and we don't have to wait for others.

1. The Senate and the House will adjourn until January. We need to get to each of the Senators and Congressmen in a big way over their holidays and let them know how angry/frustrated/PO’d we really are. Perhaps it is time for some folks to chain themselves in buildings. Now is the time to really get in their fac… Continue

Senate Race in Mass - One way to make your voice heard

At the General Membership meeting the other night I offerred up that there is a Senate Race in Mass on the 19th of January. Scott Brown (republican) is running against a very liberal candidate. This is for Ted Kennedy's seat which opened up after he died. The race is closer than the usual Mass races and because this is an mid-year election the entire race could depend on turn-out efforts. It is possible that the Republicans could win this race or at least make it close enough to send some shock… Continue

Fred,
I hit the wrong button I'll finish. Maybe it's just me. Possiably it's from having worked in an area that there were no dumb ideas or stupid question. We worked under the KISS (Keep It Simple Stupid) method. It seems to work in most all situations. The independent that ran in NY had a simple message that resonated with people. I think that is how he drew so may votes. So I guess we all just need to be a little more understanding and considerate of others. Including myself.

Fred, Thanks for adding me as your friend. Would like to get more involved with the strategy committee. I like would is going on with the committee and would like to put in my two cents worth. Just not sure what I can do at this point or how to get more involved. I do feel that perhaps maybe both the tea party and other committees are getting too spread out or spread too thin. Maybe if one thing was picked that really needs to be fixed and stick with it until it is fixed, would be a way to go. Just a thought. For example, pick a bad Czar and work on him until he resigns.
