Moving to South Carolina

We are moving on Tuesday to South Carolina. This has been planned for a couple months now and has come to a head this past month. TPWM is a fantastic organization, and I wish you all the best. I plan to get in touch with like minded individuals there and hope to participate in those tea parties, so if anyone has any contacts in the Charleston area, please let me know.

Good luck and God's speed!

Just called Congressman Hoekstra's office, and he is voting no on the cap and trade. No surprise, but good to know.

That's great. We also have many other irons in the fire. Our meetings are starting to become learning meetings so we can learn how our government works, then how it's supposed to be working and how to fix it. We also are protesting downtown and considering reading our founding documents downtown at lunch on a daily basis. We will need all the help we can get with much of this. You might check out http://icaucus.ning.com/group/michigan too. They have come up with a way to get rid of incumbants. We have a sub-group on here for that but there are also other sub-groups so just look around and find what floats your boat and get involved or set up something similar over there.

I'm with you on your statement on healthcare. I so wish they all had to abide by what we do. They'd start to see what a drain paying for all the deadbeat's healthcare is costing the average working family.

Our good Senator Stabenow appeared on YouTube with a rant about Health Care being a right. My response:

If health care is a right, then why not make a Constitutional amendment? Healthcare is not a right! Healthcare is a SERVICE, the fruit of someone's labor. How can one person have the right to the fruit of another's labor? Doesn't that infringe on the doctor's right to private property (time, money, etc)? Anytime you call something a "right", you have to ask to whom belongs the responsibility. You cannot answer "the government", because the government is you and me. Stop infringing on my rights!

Welcome Eric. Please look around. We'd love to have you join us at our events and also in any of our sub-groups.
