Why do you want to join the Tea Party?
I am Allen Twp Precinct Delegate in Hillsdale County and have attend T-Parties in several cities including Lansing, Jackson, Coldwater & Hillsdale as well as worked in NH on the RP campaign for 2 weeks as a volunteer.

More recently I am promoting a Michigan-wide www.meetup.com/Articles-Of-Freedom-MI-Lansing-meetup in UR area that is sponsored by Bob Schulz and has recently kicked off the Operation People Power project looking for a critical mass of 3-5% of people in all 3600 counties nation-wide to take our country back. June 8th is the orientation in Lansing for any who wish to know more or they can go every Sunday 9PM EST to https.www.2.gotomeeting.com/register/284496250

Welcome David. I was just looking at the map and there are groups in Adrian and K-Zoo but otherwise there is just no one close to you. Maybe you need to start one down there. I would think Hillsdale would have lot of conservatives around.

David--I encourage you to also join Independence Caucus. There is a link on our front page. That group is seeking the most conservative candidates, vetting them, and then supporting the one with the best conservative fit (no RINOS) in their run for office. You should join the Michigan Group, and then the sub-group for your district. Maybe you can find someone there who you can ride to Lansing with. As you are an active person, we really need you on I-Caucus as well as here. You will find many of us there as well.
