Carpooling to Meetings and Events
This is the name of one of our groups. I have spoken with many of you lately who are either looking for a ride or wanting to ride share. Several have aready started carpooling.
If we work together, we save gas and increase the number of people who attend our meetings. This also gives more help to our committees, and makes us some new friends.
Please join the group if you can offer a ride or need a ride.

As you may or may not know the Libertarian party has been actively protesting April 15 since long before the inception of the Tea party and our members would not want to miss the opportunity to continue educating the masses about the evils of the income tax, whether it be as a party or as individuals. I would however like to mention that the speaker Judith Doctor whose scheduled speech is entitled “The Palin Effect: Why Sarah Scares the left” may overstep the boundaries of your status with the IRS or at least the rules set forth by your own organization. I did read your comment that the speech is about her EFFECT and the effect of others like her but the title clearly states “Why Sarah Scares the Left”. If this speech is not just about Sarah Palin and the Tea party is not endorsing candidates then why not a title like “The Freedom Effect: Why the Liberty Movement Scares the Left” or if a politicians name needs to be attached to the title why not “The Ron Paul Effect” considering the Tea party movement started as a campaign money bomb for Ron Paul and he is considered to be the father of the Liberty movement?

I had told Margaret that I could get the stakes and also plot sign wording on my plotter at work . (24x36 capacity) but I needed to know before last Thursdays meeting so I could have them ready for your Saturday sign making time but no one got a hold of me. If you have some thing you need plotted email it to me in a format I can blow up to sizes needed or give me a call at 616-889-7491 (cell) I now have a home show to get ready for in Rockford so my time is getting very limited. Maybe we can talk on Thursdays meeting.

Thank you for the honor of choosing my suggested slogan/theme!
I've attached a JPEG of a logo of sorts that might of some interest and use to TPWMI.
The red "ROAR!" typography is a bit edgy, bold, and aggressive ... in a street activist hand carried sign kind of way. Which is, of course, the point. But that is offset by the more sedate 'n stylish typography below that spells out the acronym. Let me know if such a "graphic" is on worthwhile track and in the right direction ... or if such a thing is needed at all.
BTW, here are some adjunct/introductory phrases that came immediately to mind that also may be of use:
"Now is the time to make 'em hear US ---"
"It's Time They Heard US ---"
"Let 'Em Hear US ---"

- Hi Cyndi, Thanks for your response. I am in the beginning stages of campaigning and will be attending as many meetings as possible. I will be meeting with the Republican women of Benzie county as soon as I return. (in Fla helping my daughter get settled after landing a job. How amazing is that!) I do not know Beverly,yet. Although I am sure we will meet very soon
