Come on up to Manistee Thursday night for our TP meeting. Special guest is Secretary of State Terri Lynn Land. We should have lots of questions for her especially concerning election law and recent developments in the Obama Justice Dept. 6:30 to 8:00 PM at the St. Joe's Civic Club on the corner of 9th and Vine in Manistee. We hope to get fired up for the final weeks before the primary.

Kristine Struve took the attached picture last night (06-29-10) in Scottville where she was gathering signatures for the Michigan Healthcare Freedom petition. Ludington Tea Party / Tea Party of West Michigan members George and Mary proudly stand alongside this unidentified member of the world famous Scottville Clown Band.

Please join the Manistee group in the Manistee Independence Day Parade July 3rd at 10 a.m. Staging starts at 9 a.m. at Water St. near the city parking lot. We are #64. On the float, George Washington and other founding fathers will be signing the Declaration of Independence while Betsy Ross sews the flag. Other members will be carrying a banner and flags. Wear your red shirt if you have one. Many of us plan to join you on the Fourth in Ludington. Should be lots of fun!

Hank has called for a Tax Day Tea Party on the sidewalk in front of the Mason County Court House from noon to 1:30 p.m. Please show your support on this historic day where like-minded conservatives will let their voices heard throughout America. Also, please plan later on April 15th to attend either the Manistee Area Tea Party rally or the ROAR giant event in Grand Rapids at 5 p.m. See the events calendar for more information and to indicate whether you will be able to attend.

Some of you have probably met Bill Cooper recently, who is running for Congress in Michigan's 2nd District.
