Challenge to all Tea Party of West Michigan members

I was just checking out the Independence Caucus web site.  The membership for the entire state of Michigan stands at 227.  This is pathetic seeing as we have 1,070 members in our Tea Party group alone!  In order for Independence Caucus to determine exactly where the candidates stand on the issues that are most important to us today, they must first get them to agree to go through their vetting process.   Why would any candidate think it was worth their while to be vetted when he feels that the decision of whether, or not, to back him will only be heeded by a handful of his fellow citizens?   

Time is running out on this!  Bottom line is, more people have to sign up...NOW!  It only takes a few minutes of your time and you don't have to do anything else at this point except just become a member.  Let the candidates know that times have changed.  The people of Michigan have finally awakened.  In the upcoming election they will campaign for, and cast their ballots for, the person whose values most closely align with their own, and will no longer simply go to the polls and check off the box next to the candidate whose name has become familiar to them over the past few years.

So, my challenge to you is, if you haven't signed up, do so right now, before you forget!  Then take a few extra minutes to encourage your family and friends, and the members any other groups that you are involved with, to do the same.
