This guy has the sound and look of a fanatic to me. It's people like this that can make the intent of the tea party movement seem irrelevant or worse, totally off base. jmho.

Carol, Evidentally you are not familiar with Mr. Jones's work in exposing the Fed, the Bildebergers and so much more. His Life has been threatened by the New World Order folks. He is featured in the DVD set promoted by G. Edward Griffin who wrote "The Creature from Jekyll Island". Mr. Jones in my opinion is a hero who should be given much credit in exposing the Neo-cons like Sarah Palin.

Yes Mr. Jones has done some fantastic journalism some of it undercover, Ed is correct about his life being threatened. Some of his stuff is out on the fringes, you can bet that he works hard to be correct. Not everyone is correct 100% of the time even with the staff that Glenn Beck has they have made mistakes in their reporting. Mr. Jones has poured thousands of his personal income into his documentaries. The problem is we as individuals need to do our own diligence to find out what the truth is. For example I had a blog site that in my articles I didn't post them unless there were at minimal 3 sources. I'm not talking Billy Jo Bob's backyard blog, I'm talking credible news sources. With the Internet their are a plethora of opinions. Opinions don't count. I'm old enough to remember the old show Dragnet, this was a cop show based on true stories, however the main character played by Jack Webb was Sgt. Joe Friday and when he was questioning women he would sometimes say "All we want are the facts ma'am," or "All we have are the fact's ma'am." This is all we have, and this must be what we use are the facts. Then to complicate things worse is sometimes facts and truth are two different things. Just remember context, context, context!

You are right. I had never heard of him. So I googled him. Checked out his website, looked through lots of stuff about and by him. Then, tonight, I was working down in my basement where I have sattilite radio, lo and behold, his show came on at 6:00 so I listened for an hour or so. I didn't read or hear anything that changed my opinion. He's just too far out there for me.

I think Mr. Jones is making a point that we should all heed. Actions speak louder than words. If the Tea Party starts having slobbering love affairs with Sarah Palin, or anyone else, choosing to focus only on the ways in which they align themselves with the movement, and totally ignoring those ways in which they don't, then they have defeated their own purpose.

I admit that Jones comes on strong. It took me awhile to see where he was coming from. He has good company which would surprise you. Don't judge him by his style but look into and check to see if what he says is True. I think you will find that he knows his facts. Too far out you say. Could it be that he is reporting on events that are too far out. Don't we see so much today with our thieves in D. C. that is too far out. Everyday brings a too far out surprise. Do you believe he got it wrong that Sarah is supporting a neo con in Texas? Is Jones too far out with that accusation?

Jatim, I am confused. You say sometimes Facts and Truth are two different things. Are you injecting motives into the equation. Motives would be subjective which can lead to us putting a different spin on something. But can motives change a fact or make it untrue?

This video does make you think, that's for sure. I see the points about how this guy seems over the top. Beck has pointed out the context of the support for the bailout multiple times. He also points out that it was a mistake. He's been clear about that... I've often enjoyed watching Palin drive the Liberals nuts and Beck is working on informing the country about our founding better than anyone else I know. No matter what was said on this video, you cannot deny that. I personally had hoped that Sarah could be a mouth piece for "the people". She has proven that she is not ready for that and WE ARE NOT READY FOR THAT. We need to focus on the home front and ignore the "external" noise. Please, let’s keep studying and talking with our friends and neighbors.

Here's the deal. We CAN NOT put our faith in any person or single issue. The Tea Party convention with Palin was a minor issue for the people with boots on the ground. However, much of American was interested in that event. This shows how little people understand about the Tea Party Movement. When people ask me about the convention I just say, "It happened", "it is irrelevant to us". It truly was. I would actually say it was a distraction.

We need to learn about the constitution and our founding principles as fast and as in-depth as possible. Mobilizing and educating people is where we need to focus. We've put our faith in people for years and I think that most of us realize that. When this movement becomes about any single person or issue, the support falls apart. We don't care about individual people or individual issues. We care about who we are and from whence we came. THAT'S IT!!!

I saw a comment by one of our new members that makes the point very well. "Our Leader is the Persuit of Freedom"

Mark, Beck supported the bailout and then after it passed, he said it was a mistake. How convenient. He had his cake and ate it too.
If don't think Beck is working on informing the country about our founding Fathers better than anyone. I suggest you read and listen to Judge Andrew Napolitano and many others who really know the Constitution and Really believe it should be followed and do not just give it Lip Service. Lew Rockwell, Jacob Horberger and G. Edward Griffin to name a few. I would include Alex Jones too.
I dusted Sarah Palin off my shoes when she supported the war, war, war program of the Neo-cons at the Republican Convention. She has not changed since that time. She has just been getting higher level Neo- con advice and has become foxier.
You made this statement: "We don't care about individual people or individual issues. We care about who we are and from whence we came." If one is not concerned about individual issues, why join the Tea Party. The founders certainly cared about individual issues. Isn't the Bill of Rights and the Amendments about individual issues. Each Candidate running for electioin is an individual issue until the choice dwindles to the final ones on the ballot. Then was just have fewer individual issues to select from.
I do believe that there is a hierarchy of individual issues. Certain ones have a greater affect and so should be treated as such.
Certainly, without Life, a person cannot have any other right can he. Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness in that order.
No person is perfect so the best we can do is support a candidate we believe will most likely pursue what he preaches and HAS A RECORD OF DOING SO.
We should care about individual people and individual issues and those candidaes and issues we support will tell others who we are.

Well Said Bob.

just from reading these post from this topic, shows me we are no closer to stopping these people. seems like our minds are really set on the same old thing. rep. vs dems. people like alex jones and michael savage may seem out there, but in my opinion its peoples brainwashing that won't let them accept that these people may be more inline with what is really going on. they may not be right all the time but i believe alot of the info holds true. its like the picture of bush on that billboard that i see on here. it says miss me yet. well, no. nwo pos. these globalist have to go. no matter who they are.

Here's a quick follow-up
1. Beck is not perfect, but he's doing more to make people investigate the founding of the country than the other people listed in the prior posts. My point is that we can't get hooked on any person, be it Beck or anyone else. Are you saying that Beck is not having a very positive impact over all? I believe that as people learn the "basics" they will become more critical thinkers. I don't have anything against the guys listed, but who's having the most postive impact is my question?
2. I am more upset a Bush than BO. BO is just doing what he said he would do. He does need to be stopped however. Regarding the sign, these signs are evidence of a breached level of tollarance. Its worth noting.
3. Single issues or individual leaders. Don't you think it would be a good idea to get a broad understanding of our situation before we start settling into details? Single issues such as Republican vs Libertarian or Fair Tax or Bush or Beck or Palin, lead nowhere right now except for a lot of spinning wheels. The time will come to narrow the focus, but let us understand where we are in history first. Can you help at that level? I'm asking for your help.

Again, we have a lot of work to do. We need to wake up those around us to how far off track we are. I know you are thinking, "thats what I'm doing". I'm saying why don't you help in a more general constructive mode? Like Beck or not, he is helping wake up America. Can you honestly say the good out ways the bad (having his cake and eating it too). All I can say is that he's helping right now. And we need help right now.
